A combination of injuries, decisions to emigrate and conflicting appointment dates among those who had played in previous years had the effect of reducing the entrants in this year’s Pensioners’ Golf Competition.

It was on a beautiful sunny day in late September that a record number of 19 golfers took part in the fourth Annual golf competition for the AXA Trophy.

5th Annual Meeting, Kendal

The fifth Annual Meeting of the AXA Provincial Pensioners' Association was held on Friday the 19th August in the comfortable surroundings of the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal.
October 5 2004
Our re-union was again at Thornton Hall Hotel. Wirral, on 5th October last year. Seventeen pensioners and their partners enjoyed a superb lunch of good food and renewed friendships.

The Bristol Pensioners of AXA Provincial, Held their annual reunion at a new venue, The Bristol Golf Club on Friday 29th, October 2004. The venue, food and company made the event a success and well worth organising.
Exeter APPA annual Reunion
20th.October 2004
The Exeter APPA held their second annual Reunion luncheon on Wednesday 20th. October 2004, again at The Devon Hotel, Exeter. All the 12 pensioners and 8 spouces enjoyed the carvery lunch.

4th Annual Meeting, Bromsgrove

The meeting takes place once again at the Hilton Hotel, Bromsgrove. The majority of the committee were able to attend, together with some members. Numbers this year were lower than we have had in the past but it was an interesting and enjoyable day.
